The NVQ level 2 qualification training course is developed for the experienced occupational painters and decorators who are proficient in their job and they have the ability to demonstrate all necessary skills of a proficient painter and decorator as mentioned by the National Occupational Standards.
- A skilled painter or decorator must know the following tasks:
- To safely erect working platforms (towers, podiums, step ladders etc.)
- To handle and store components including COSHH materials
- To prepare surfaces
To apply paint to the surfaces using brushes and rollers.
This NVQ qualification course for decorative finishing and painting should contain the confirmation of the learner skills that comply with the basic health and safety of the decorative finishing and painting projects.
