Level 2 NVQ assessment course for Dry Lining Fixing is developed for drylining fixers who have sound knowledge and experience in the industry and they must be proficient to demonstrate the necessary dry lining fixing practical skills as per the National Occupational Standards.

An experienced dry liner fixer must know all the knowledge about:

  • Repairing and constructing metal stud partition walls to the required standards
  • Understanding the specifications and drawings to set out the stud walls
  • He should be able to erect walls up to the three meters high
  • Installing MF ceilings
  • Constructing encasement
  • Performing 1st and 2nd fix

This course of Level 2 NVQ assessment for Dry Lining must show the evidence that must demonstrate that the learner has a well understanding of the general Health and Safety of the site. Therefore, a dry liner fixer must show the necessary steps to ensure the ability and knowledge of work accomplishment with safety, according to the construction safety guidelines.
